My Solomon Grundy.

Born on a Friday... As a child I was quite the oddball, perhaps this is not such a bad thing as it was at this time that I
began to draw and paint. I became obsessed with art and design, spending many an afternoon scribbling away at an old sketchbook.

As for what I prefer to draw and paint? Everything... but I do have a preference for the fantastic
and bizarre and so I always attempt to "twist" my subject just enough to make it unexpected or surreal. .
draw scenes from my own dreams and nightmares and my work often takes on African wildlife and textural elements.

I am mostly self-taught, however I did study art in high-school. Having received a bursary for tertiary education,
I attained a certificate in Graphic and Advertising Design through Intec College.
I am very interested in digital design and would like to further my education in this field.
Currently I divide my time between traditional and digital art.

I am fascinated by 3D art and design, so I am planning on producing 3D projects.

I aspire to work full-time within both the print and video game industry as illustrator, conceptual artist and creature designer.
